EX^LT 

EX^LT is a college age ministry at FBC designed for young adults between the ages of 18 and 30. EX^LT is a weekly time of fellowship, connection, accountability, worship, and scripture discussion. Our purpose is to provide a safe space for a college age community to gather, worship, learn, and share life together. We meet on Fridays at FBC, in Room 302. Arrive at 6:30 PM for refreshments before we kick things off at 7 PM. Bring a friend and we hope to see you there. Click here to sign up!

 

2GO CAFE – 9 AM SUNDAY

Our coffee stand is open on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. Stop by and grab some coffee before and after the Main Session. Donations currently benefit Grace Kitchen, which helps meet needs of marginalized women in the Tri-Cities.

with Pastor Tim – Join this Breakout as we study Askesis: a process that encompasses a lifetime of leveraging our relationship with God against every circumstance of life to deeply enrich our fellowship with Him. For Summer months we will not be offering Breakout Sessions for kids, but Pastor Tim would love to have your whole family join his session in the MPR.

MEN’S STUDY/ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP – 5 PM SUNDAY

Join this accountability and study group for men on Sunday evenings. We meet on Sundays from 5-6 PM in the MPR. Our current study in this Ethics for Man series is called Abandoned. For more information or if you have any questions about this group, call Pastor Tim at 360.880.4975.

 

VBS STARTS ON MONDAY!

“Kingdom Rock” VBS is July 18-22, 2022 from 9 AM to Noon. At Kingdom Rock, kids discover how to STAND STRONG for God! Kids will learn to see evidence of God in everyday life. Classes available for kids from kindergarten through 7th grade.

This Sunday, July 17, we will have a VBS Kickoff during our Main Session at 9:30 AM, and then NEXT Sunday, July 24 during our Main Session, we will have a VBS Celebration, with a culmination and grand finale of the week’s activities as well as showing appreciation for our VBS staff and volunteers! It’s going to be great, we sure hope you will join us for all of these fun Summer activities!

SENIOR FUN, FOOD, FELLOWSHIP – OFF-SITE! SEE BELOW

Join this exciting time of fun, food, fellowship, hymn singing, and games, every third Tuesday of the month from 11 AM – 2 PM!
This month we are meeting off-site due to VBS. Join us on Tuesday, July 19. We will meet at Sharon Taff’s house, 1925 Birch, in Richland.

Who is the church? What is the church’s purpose? Why join the church? How do I join the church? This evening of connection and discussion will answer these questions and more. Come explore church membership and its connection to ministry at FBC Richland.

BOOK CLUB 

The Library Ladies are hosting a book club!
Everyone who reads and loves books is invited. In fact, bring your book-loving friends too. We will talk BOOKS!
We want to know what you are reading now, and why you liked it or hated it. (Did we mention that we love books, even the books you are reading?) We’ll all vote to decide the book we will read together and discuss at the next meeting.

Our first club will be on Saturday, July 30 from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at Jen Frater’s house and will repeat on the last Saturday of each month. Locations may vary. Contact a Library Lady for more info!
