EX^LT – FRIDAYS
Heads up: There will be NO EX^LT this Friday, July 7. Mark your calendar!
EX^LT is a college age ministry at FBC designed for high school seniors through young adults. EX^LT is a weekly time of fellowship, connection, accountability, worship, and scripture discussion. Our purpose is to provide a safe space for a college age community to gather, worship, learn, and share life together. We meet on Fridays at FBC, in Room 101. Arrive at 6:30 PM for refreshments before we kick things off at 7:00 PM. Bring a friend and we hope to see you there. Click here to sign up!
MEN’S BREAKFAST – 7/8
If you are a man of middle school age or older, you’re invited to breakfast every 2nd Saturday of the month (next month we’ll be back to that regular schedule). Mark your calendar for our next gathering, which is THIS Saturday, July 8 at 8:00 AM in the MPR. Food will be provided, so come and eat and enjoy some great fellowship. This month we will also enjoy a short devotion from Jared Gillespie. Please join us!
If you have any questions, email Dave Neumayer or fbc@fbcrichland.net.
2GO CAFE – 9:00 AM SUNDAY
Our coffee stand is open on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. Stop by and grab some coffee before or after the Main Session. Donations currently benefit Young Life Tri-Cities.
FBC KIDS – 9:30 AM SUNDAY
FBC Kids is our Sunday morning program for children ages 0–6th grade. We use The Gospel Project as our curriculum. Our mission is to partner with families to raise up kids who love Jesus!

• Nursery & Toddler – age 0-2
• Preschool & Kindergarten – age 3-5
• Grades 1, 2, & 3
Check your children in at the station by the nursery in the main hallway – follow the new signs! There will be a single check-in station where you can conveniently complete the check-in process for your child and your whole family.
• Grades 4, 5, & 6 participate in the Main Session and have their own grade-level materials. If your older kiddo hasn’t gotten an FBC Kids 4-5-6 Grade binder yet, they can grab theirs from under the table at the back of the auditorium! These are for kids to keep and they can add materials to their binders each week.

Humble King holy One
Friend of sinners God’s own Son
God in flesh among men

Verse 2
Servant King friend to me
You saved my soul washed my feet
Here I’ll bow give all to You
Lord I want to be like You
Chorus
All I want all I need
More of You less of me
Take this life Lord it’s Yours
Have my heart have it all
Verse 3
I will walk in Your ways
Love Your word seek Your face
My reward my sole pursuit
To know You more to be like You
Bridge
Jesus Jesus all I want is to be like You
Jesus Jesus all I want is to be like You
Spirit Of The Living God
Verse 1
Spirit of the living God
Spirit of the living God
We only want to hear Your voice
We’re hanging on ev’ry word
Spirit of the living God
Spirit of the living God
We want to know You more and more
We’re hanging on ev’ry word
Chorus
‘Cause when You speak and when You move
When You do what only You can do
It changes us
It changes what we see and what we seek
When You come in the room
When You do what only You can do
It changes us
It changes what we see and what we seek
You’re changing ev’rything
Verse 2
Spirit of the living God

We’re leaning in to all You are
Ev’rything else can wait
Spirit of the living God
Spirit of the living God

Come now and have Your way
Bridge
When You move You move all our fears
When You move You move us to tears
When You move You move all our fears
When You move You move us to tears
Bridge
When You fall we fall on our knees
When You fall we fall at Your feet
And when You fall we fall on our knees
And when You fall we fall at Your feet yeah
Ending
Spirit of the living God
Spirit of the living God
We only want to hear Your voice
We’re hanging on ev’ry word
Healer
Verse 1
You said if we believe
Then greater things would come
So pour Your Spirit out
Like a river like a flood
Deliver every heart
Body soul and mind
All the darkness bows
Before the feet of Christ
Chorus
The Healer’s in this place
The Healer’s in this place
Jesus You are moving in our praise
There’s freedom in Your name
There’s freedom in Your name
Jesus You are Healer in this place
Verse 2
You said if we believe
We would see Your kingdom come
So pour Your Spirit out
Come and let Your will be done
You’ve defeated death
And You remain our living hope
We believe Your Word
You’re the God of miracles
Bridge
Let the blind see all Your glory
Let the dead rise testifying
There is power in the mighty name of Jesus
Let the mourning turn to dancing
Fear is silenced in our praising
There is power in the mighty name of Jesus
Ending
There is power in the mighty name of Jesus
There is power in the mighty name of Jesus
There is power in the mighty name of Jesus

Student Ministry Update June 2023
Summer is approaching rapidly! Here are some of our plans.
We have 2 seniors who are graduating this year: Ilse Zacher and Joshua Pagh. If you see them you can congratulate them! Our youth group will be recognizing them at a special youth group in the park on Tuesday, June 6 from 6:00-8:00 pm (usual youth group time). We’ll also have pizza and dessert. Please drop your students off and pick them up at the Leslie Grove Park entrance off Park Street.
We will also be recognizing our seniors with the rest of our church family in the service on Sunday, June 11.
We just completed our 7-week study in the book of Daniel this last Tuesday. One of the main takeaways from our study is that God is the ultimate authority in heaven and earth. This is shown throughout Daniel and emphasized in Daniel 2:20-22 (NLT):
He said, “Praise the name of God forever and ever,
for he has all wisdom and power.
He controls the course of world events;
he removes kings and sets up other kings.
He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to the scholars.
He reveals deep and mysterious things
and knows what lies hidden in darkness,
though he is surrounded by light.
In our next study we will be talking about World Religions. We asked the students to vote on some topics they thought would be valuable to them and this came out on top! Over a period of 5 weeks will be looking at Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism and comparing them to what we know about Christianity. We will finish up with a discussion on Christianity and why Jesus is unique and worthy of a personal relationship instead of seeing life with him merely as a better “religion.”
Once we finish World Religions, we will be discussing friendships, and that will bring us up to our Fall Kickoff on August 29!
We are working on planning a couple of special activities for July and August. As we get things nailed down, we’ll let you know.
There is no youth group on July 4!
It is such a privilege to spend time with your students! Their desire to know God more and their kindness to each other and to new students is such an encouragement!
If you have any questions, ideas, or concerns, you can send them my way!
