Our purpose is to provide a safe space for a college age community to gather, worship, learn, and share life together. We meet on Fridays at FBC, in Room 302. Arrive at 6:30 PM for refreshments before we kick things off at 7:00 PM. Bring a friend and we hope to see you there. Click here to sign up!

FBC KIDS – 9:30 AM SUNDAY
FBC Kids is our Sunday morning program for children ages 0–6th grade. We use The Gospel Project as our curriculum. Our mission is to partner with families to raise up kids who love Jesus!

• Nursery & Toddler – age 0-2
• Preschool & Kindergarten – age 3-5
• Grades 1, 2, & 3
Check your children in at the station by the nursery in the main hallway – follow the new signs! There will be a single check-in station where you can conveniently complete the check-in process for your child and your whole family.
• Grades 4, 5, & 6 participate in the Main Session and have their own grade-level materials. If your older kiddo hasn’t gotten an FBC Kids 4-5-6 Grade binder yet, they can grab theirs from under the table at the back of the auditorium! These are for kids to keep and they can add materials to their binders each week.

AMBASSADORS IN MEXICO
Please pray for the AIM team as they will be having several training meetings before their trip, which takes place from June 17-24. They will meet together to prepare to be out of the country, to learn to build a home, and to form a cohesive team. They all appreciate our prayer support not only during their actual trip, but during the preparation time as well!
Their meeting dates are May 21 & June 11 at 11:00 AM during Breakout Session time.
If you have any questions about the AIM team, please contact Greg Frater, team leader, at 509.430.9944.
BLOOD DRIVE – 5/26
We are hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive sponsored by Oasis Physical Therapy. Join this blood drive on Friday, May 26, from 12 PM to 5 PM in the MPR.
The Red Cross is facing a critical shortage with only 60% of the blood needed expected to be donated this summer. Please consider giving blood. It’s easy and only takes about 30 minutes!
You may click here to register online for a time to donate. Donating blood is safe, quick and easy, and you can save up to 3 lives with just 1 blood donation! Giving blood saves 4.5 million lives each year in the US, yet fewer than 1 out of 10 people in the US donate.
Let’s roll up our sleeves and do our part!
MEMORIAL DAY TACO FEED – 5/28
Join us for a Memorial Day Taco Feed on Sunday, May 28. It will start at 11:00 AM in lieu of our regular breakout sessions.

More details to come!

The Cross Reference Book Club book for May/June: The Cost of Control: Why We Crave It, the Anxiety It Gives Us, and the Real Power God Promises by Sharon Hodde Miller
~Brief overview~
The Cost of Control
God didn’t give us control.
He gave us something better.
We all wish we had more control. When our relationships are strained, when our bodies refuse to cooperate, when the future is uncertain, control promises security and peace. If only I were in charge, we dream. And this illusion seems more attainable than ever. Technology, science, and medicine all promise us ever-increasing mastery over our world.
The problem is, the more we seek the illusion of control, the more it betrays us. In place of certainty, it gives us anxiety. In place of predictability, it creates complexity. And in place of unity, it divides. It’s not just that we cannot control things, it’s that we break them even more when we try.
Thankfully, the answer to our craving is not simply to “let go and let God.” Instead, God has given us a better tool. In this eye-opening book, Sharon Hodde Miller helps us discover the real power God has given us in Christ—to exercise influence over ourselves and our lives.
We look forward to hearing what you learned from reading this book at our next meeting on Saturday, June 3 at 6:30 PM at the Cross Reference Library at FBC Richland (Room 301). Join the group and RSVP so that we know you’re participating. You can join the Book Club Group and RSVP in the App: Home>Connect>Groups or click here.
Come join us whether you’ve read the book or not – we welcome all discussion. We’re excited to see you!

Made Alive
Altar
Sing to the King
I Could Sing of Your Love Forever
Made Alive
Verse 1
I once was dead in sin alone and hopeless
A child of wrath I walked condemned in darkness
But Your mercy brought new life
And in Your love and kindness
Raised me up with Christ and made me righteous
Chorus
You have bought me back with the riches of
Your amazing grace and relentless love
I’m made alive forever with You life forever
By Your grace I’m saved
(By Your grace I’m saved)
Verse 2
Lord You are the light that broke the darkness
You satisfy my soul when I am heartless
If ever I forget my true identity
Show me who I am and help me to believe
Bridge
My sin has been erased
I’ll never be the same
Altar
Verse 1
You beckon me beckon me
To leave all that I’ve known
You beckon me beckon me
To call you as my own
This is life this is life
To bid me come and die
Spirit of the living God
You’re all that satisfies
All that satisfies
Chorus 1
Here I give my everything
Surrendered at the altar of my King
For I am His and He is mine
Oh I know that He will
Never leave my side
He’ll never leave my side
Verse 2
You beckon me beckon me
To leave all that I’ve known
You beckon me beckon me
To call you as my own
This is life this is life
To bid me come and die
Spirit of living God
You’re all that satisfies
All that satisfies
Chorus 2
So here I give my everything
Surrendered at the altar of my King
For I am His and He is mine
Oh I know that He will
Never leave my side
Bridge
My desire is for You
All of Heaven adores You
I’ve tasted and I’ve seen
That You are good
Your kingdom’s forever
Your throne lasts forever
And forever I will sing
That You are good
Chorus 3
So here I give my everything
I’m surrendered at the altar of my King
For I am His and He is mine
Oh I know that He will
Never leave my side
‘Cause I’m hanging on
To Your every word
Like a melody
That no one else has heard
For I am His and He is mine
Oh I know that He will
Never leave my side
He’ll never leave my side
Sing To The King
Verse 1
Sing to the King Who is coming to reign
Glory to Jesus the Lamb that was slain
Life and salvation His empire shall bring
And joy to the nations when Jesus is King
Chorus
Come let us sing a song
A song declaring that we belong to Jesus
He is all we need
Lift up a heart of praise
Sing now with voices raised to Jesus
Sing to the King
Verse 2
For His returning we watch and we pray
We will be ready the dawn of that day
We’ll join in singing with all the redeemed
‘Cause Satan is vanquished
And Jesus is King
I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever
Verse 1
Over the mountains and the sea
Your river runs with love for me
And I will open up my heart
And let the Healer set me free
I’m happy to be in the truth
And I will daily lift my hands
For I will always sing
Of when Your love came down yeah
Chorus
I could sing of Your love forever
I could sing of Your love forever
I could sing of Your love forever
I could sing of Your love forever
Bridge
Oh I feel like dancing
It’s foolishness I know
But when the world has seen the light
They will dance with joy like we’re dancing now
