NCFCA SPEECH & DEBATE TOURNAMENT
FBC will be hosting a tournament next week – from February 29 to March 2 – and they are looking for community volunteers! These tournaments rely on support from community volunteers who give their time to judge rounds of competition. No experience is necessary because we want our competitors (ages 12-18) to practice real-world communication and get feedback from adults with a variety of perspectives. Your input can truly make a difference! Would you consider volunteering to judge a round of speech or debate? You can also pick up a flyer at the Connect Table on Sunday morning, and you can also contact Jen Frater for more info. View the flyer here

With Kary Ferguson – Join the Shoe Collection Team to start preparing for the 2024 Trunk or Treat New Shoe Giveaway. In this Breakout, we will prep shoes and socks – we will be removing packaging and price tags, as well as pinning socks together as a pair. Each pair of shoes gets a bracelet that says “Jesus loves me”, supporting our goal of each child knowing Jesus loves them and sees them. Open to all ages

2024 TRUNK OR TREAT NEW SHOE GIVEAWAY
Kary is looking for shoe shoppers and others to help prepare the shoes for our Shoe Giveaway at Trunk or Treat 2024.

We will read the short book “Praying the Bible” over 3 weeks and learn to lean on the scriptures to build a more robust prayer life.
