EX^LT – FRIDAYS
EX^LT is a college age ministry at FBC designed for high school seniors through young adults. EX^LT is a weekly time of fellowship, connection, accountability, worship, and scripture discussion. Our purpose is to provide a safe space for a college age community to gather, worship, learn, and share life together. We meet on Fridays at FBC, in Room 101. Arrive at 6:30 PM for refreshments before we kick things off at 7:00 PM. Bring a friend and we hope to see you there. Click here to sign up!
MEN’S BREAKFAST – 11/11
What does it take to see your works through a new lens?
– Thoughts from a struggling Christian –
Join us on Saturday, when Ryan Moore will be sharing a short devotion.
If you are a man of middle school age or older, you’re invited to breakfast every 2nd Saturday of the month. Mark your calendar for our next gathering, THIS Saturday, November 11, at 8:00 AM in the MPR. Food will be provided, so come and eat and enjoy some great fellowship.
If you have any questions, email Dave Neumayer or fbc@fbcrichland.net.
2GO CAFE – 9:00 AM SUNDAY
Our coffee stand is open on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. Stop by and grab some coffee before or after the Main Session. Donations currently benefit Tri-City Union Gospel Mission. You can find more info about this ministry at the coffee stand.
We are looking for a new Ministry Champion for the 2GO Cafe! Training will be provided, and a team of baristas is already in place. Duties include maintaining supplies on a weekly basis, making beverages on some Sundays, and communicating with FBC office staff. If you’re interested, contact Karen: kcneumayer@gmail.com
FBC KIDS – 9:30 AM
FBC Kids is our Sunday morning program for children ages 0–6th grade, where we use The Gospel Project as our curriculum.
Our mission is to partner with families to raise up kids who love Jesus!
At our 9:30 AM Main Session we have 3 classes (check in by the Nursery):
• Nursery & Toddler – age 0-2
• Preschool & Kindergarten – age 3-5
• Grades 1, 2, & 3
Check your children in at the station by the nursery in the main hallway – follow the signs!
There will be a single check-in station where you can conveniently complete the process for your child, and you can sign in for the rest of your family, too, all at once.
• Grades 4, 5, & 6 participate in the Main Session. If your older kiddo hasn’t gotten an FBC Kids 4-5-6 Grade binder yet, they can grab theirs from under the giving box at the back of the auditorium! These are for kids to keep, and they can add to their binders each week.

Join this blood drive on Friday, November 24, from 10 AM to 3 PM in the MPR.
Please consider giving blood. It’s easy and only takes about 30 minutes!
You may click here to register online for a time to donate. Donating blood is safe, quick and easy, and you can save up to 3 lives with just 1 blood donation! Giving blood saves 4.5 million lives each year in the US, yet fewer than 1 out of 10 people in the US donate.
Let’s roll up our sleeves and do our part!
TEEN LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE (TLC) – 12/28-30
SIGNUPS OPEN NOW!
It’s that time of the year again and TLC registration is open! TLC, the Teen Leadership Conference, is a really cool event where Freshmen to college-age students can come together with other churches and hear Christian speakers and be encouraged together. Dates for this trip are December 28-30. Registration is $185 and open now until December 1 (for a free hoodie) and December 15 is the final deadline (but no hoodie).
This is a really amazing event and all eligible students are encouraged to attend.
But, this isn’t just for the students. We also need adult leaders (over 21) to help with this trip. This can range from driving vans, to working in the kitchen, to being a leader at the camp, to simply committing to pray for the trip. The fee for adult leaders will be covered, so this is primarily a time commitment from you. ** If you are interested in being a chaperone or a kitchen worker, please check with Rachel or Tara first! Thanks. **
If you have any questions about TLC, please talk to Rachel Montgomery or send her an email.
And, as always, please sign up in the ChurchCenter app. Open your app and tap Home> Connect> Events or click here.
LADIES RETREAT REGISTRATION OPEN
LADIES 18 years and older ~ Come join us October 4-6, 2024 for a women’s retreat at the Cannon Beach Conference Center in beautiful, picturesque Cannon Beach, Oregon, for an unforgettable weekend away. The speaker for this conference is Brooke Andrews. We have reserved some rooms, and there is much more info on the Events page of the app! Click here for more details and to sign up.
If you have any questions please email Stacy Mouat: stacymouat@gmail.com
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is an international program that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church. We seek to create a space for moms to be seen, heard, and known. MOPS is all about connecting people to each other, sharing the joys and challenges of motherhood, and sharing the love of Jesus.
• After you grab our app, join our MOPS Group!
FBC MOPS meets twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from September to May. We meet from 6:30-8:00 PM in Room 101 at FBC Richland (1107 Wright Ave). We provide fellowship, snacks, discussions, and laughter. Motherhood is messy! Don’t feel like you have to do it alone! Please join us, just as you are – because we are better together!
• We meet in Room 101 at FBC Richland

The Cross Reference Book Club book for November/December: Not-Yet-Christian: The 10 Stages of the Spiritual Journey by Les Goertz
What you can gain from reading “Not-Yet-Christian:
1.) A better understanding of the journey anyone walks on the path to placing their faith in Jesus as Lord.
2.) Greater confidence in how to share your faith, based on where someone is on their journey toward Jesus.
3.) Practical questions you can ask as the Holy Spirit moves the person through the 10 stages of their journey to faith.
4.) A process for you and your Not-Yet-Christian friend to discover Jesus together so that sharing your faith is both enjoyable and effective.
If you need a copy of this book, reach out to Pastor Brad.
We look forward to hearing what you learned from your reading at our next meeting on Saturday, December 16 at 6:30 PM at the Cross Reference Library at FBC Richland (Room 301). Join the group and RSVP so that we know you’re participating.
You can join the Group and RSVP in the App: Home>Connect>Groups or click here.
