The Heart Of Worship
Here Again
It Is Well
Lay Me Down
Heart Of Worship
Verse 1
When the music fades
All is stripped away
And I simply come
Longing just to bring
Something that’s of worth
That will bless Your heart
Pre-Chorus
I’ll bring You more than a song
For a song in itself
Is not what You have required
You search much deeper within
Through the way things appear
You’re looking into my heart
Chorus
I’m coming back to the heart of worship
And it’s all about You all about You Jesus
I’m sorry Lord for the thing I’ve made it
When it’s all about You
All about You Jesus
Verse 2
King of endless worth
No one could express
How much You deserve
Though I’m weak and poor
All I have is Yours
Ev’ry single breath
We give You the highest praise
We give You the highest praise
We give You the highest praise
Jesus our Savior
You’re worthy of it all
Here Again
Verse 1
Can’t go back to the beginning
Can’t control what tomorrow will bring
But I know here in the middle
Is the place where you promise to be
Chorus
I’m not enough unless you come
Will you meet me here again
‘Cause all I want is all you are
Will you meet me here again
Verse 2
As I walk now through the valley
Let your love rise above every fear
Like the sun shaping the shadow
In my weakness your glory appears
Bridge
Not for a minute was I forsaken
The Lord is in this place
The Lord is in this place
Come Holy Spirit dry bones awaken
The Lord is in this place
The Lord is in this place
It Is Well
Verse 1
Grander earth has quaked before
Moved by the sound of His voice
Seas that are shaken and stirred
Can be calmed and broken for my regard
Chorus
Through it all through it all
My eyes are on You
Through it all through it all
It is well
Through it all through it all
My eyes are on You
And it is well with me
Verse 2
Far be it from me to not believe
Even when my eyes can’t see
And this mountain that’s in front of me
Will be thrown into the midst of the sea
Bridge
So let go my soul and trust in Him
The waves and wind still know His name
Ending
It is well with my soul
It is well with my soul
It is well with my soul
It is well it is well with my soul
Lay Me Down
Verse 1
With this heart open wide
From the depths from the heights
I will bring a sacrifice
Verse 2
With these hands lifted high
Hear my song hear my cry
I will bring a sacrifice
I will bring a sacrifice
Chorus
I lay me down
I’m not my own
I belong to You alone
Lay me down lay me down
Oh hand on my heart this much is true
There’s no life apart from You
Lay me down lay me down
(Oh lay me down lay me down)
Verse 3
Letting go of my pride
Giving up all my rights
Take this life and let it shine
Take this life and let it shine
Bridge
It will be my joy to say
Your will Your way
It will be my joy to say
Your will Your way
It will be my joy to say
Your will Your way always
Sermon Study Guide
FBC Richland: Who We Are
(Week Twenty-Four)
Pastor Tim Walker
18But what God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ would suffer, he thus fulfilled.
19Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out,
20that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus,
21whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.
Acts 3:18-21 ESV
8Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God,
9who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,
10and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
11for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher,
12which is why I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me.
13Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
14By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you.
2 Timothy 1:8-14 ESV
18Now when all the people saw the thunder and the flashes of lightning and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking, the people were afraid and trembled, and they stood far off
19and said to Moses, “You speak to us, and we will listen; but do not let God speak to us, lest we die.”
20Moses said to the people, “Do not fear, for God has come to test you, that the fear of him may be before you, that you may not sin.”
21The people stood far off, while Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.
Exodus 20:18-21 ESV
14And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
15(John bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.’”)
16For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.
17For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
18No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.
John 1:14-18 ESV
