EX^LT 

EX^LT is a college age ministry at FBC designed for young adults between the ages of 18 and 30. EX^LT is a weekly time of fellowship, connection, accountability, worship, and scripture discussion. Our purpose is to provide a safe space for a college age community to gather, worship, learn, and share life together. We meet on Fridays at FBC, in Room 302. Arrive at 6:30 PM for refreshments before we kick things off at 7 PM. Bring a friend and we hope to see you there. Click here to sign up!

 

2GO CAFE – 9 AM SUNDAY

Our coffee stand is open on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. Stop by and grab some coffee before and after the Main Session. Donations currently benefit our Deacon Assistance Program, which helps care for our church family and the Tri-Cities community.

SUNDAY BREAKOUT SESSIONS – 11 AM SUNDAY

•    Book of Genesis with Paul Eslinger – An interactive bible study, open to youth and adults
– Meets in Room 303

•    Askesis – Classical Christian Disciplines with Pastor Tim – Join this Breakout as we study Askesis: a process that encompasses a lifetime of leveraging our relationship with God against every circumstance of life to deeply enrich our fellowship with Him. Bring your study notes and join us for this week’s discussion. All ages welcome
– Meets in the MPR

For Summer months we will not be offering Breakout Sessions for kids, but Pastor Tim would love to have your whole family join his session in the MPR.

NEXT WEEK’S BREAKOUT: REFUGEE PROJECT BRIEFING 

Next Sunday, July 10, we will have one Breakout Session to give a status update on the Refugee Project. Please join us in the MPR for this briefing and Q/R time.

MEN’S STUDY/ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP – 5 PM SUNDAY

Join this accountability and study group for men on Sunday evenings. We meet on Sundays from 5-6 PM in the MPR. Our current study in this Ethics for Man series is called Abandoned. For more information or if you have any questions about this group, call Pastor Tim at 360.880.4975.

 

SENIOR LUNCH

Formerly known as the Ladies Birthday Luncheon, we are now predominately seniors, some men, some women, and all ages are welcome.  On the first Wednesday of every month at noon, we gather for food and fellowship at various restaurants. The men usually, but not always, sit at their own table.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY OCC FUNDRAISER

Come join us for a Christmas in July Operation Christmas Child fundraiser! Join us on Friday July 8, at 5:00 PM in the MPR. This family friendly event will include dinner, games, and hands-on activities to help with prep for shoeboxes as we raise money for shipping shoeboxes. Entrance is by donation. KIDZONE SUMMER BREAK

During the Summer months, our Sunday morning children’s programs will be taking a well-earned break to allow teachers and helpers the opportunity to worship with their families.

We will continue to offer nursery care for ages 0-3 during our 9:30 AM Main Session. All other ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Main Session in the Auditorium, where they can grab a Kids Bible Study Notes packet from the table in the back.

If at any time a different venue would be helpful, you are always welcome to view the simulcast of the Main Session in the MPR.

 

VBS REGISTRATION OPEN

“Kingdom Rock” VBS is July 18-22, 2022 from 9 AM to Noon. At Kingdom Rock, kids discover how to STAND STRONG for God! Kids will learn to see evidence of God in everyday life. Classes available for kids from kindergarten through 7th grade.
