EX^LT – FRIDAYS
EX^LT is a college age ministry at FBC designed for high school seniors through young adults. EX^LT is a weekly time of fellowship, connection, accountability, worship, and scripture discussion. Our purpose is to provide a safe space for a college age community to gather, worship, learn, and share life together. We meet on Fridays at FBC, in Room 101. Arrive at 6:30 PM for refreshments before we kick things off at 7:00 PM. Bring a friend and we hope to see you there. Click here to sign up!
CROSS REFERENCE BOOK CLUB – 10/28
The FBC Library, The Cross Reference, has a Book Club for everyone who reads and loves books – all are invited! In fact, bring your book-loving friends too. Sign up to join the Book Club Group in the App: Home>Connect>Groups or click here. We appreciate your RSVP so that we know how many are going to join us for this time of sharing and fellowship!
The Cross Reference Book Club book for October: Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
Join us this month as we read the story of Victor Frankenstein’s terrible creation and the havoc it caused has enthralled generations of readers and inspired countless writers of horror and suspense.
We look forward to hearing what you learned from your reading at our next meeting on Saturday, October 28 at 6:30 PM at the Cross Reference Library at FBC Richland (Room 301). Join the group and RSVP so that we know you’re participating. You can join the Group and RSVP in the App: Home>Connect>Groups or click here.
Come join us whether you’ve read the book or not – we welcome all discussion. We’re excited to see you then!
2GO CAFE – 9:00 AM SUNDAY
Our coffee stand is open on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. Stop by and grab some coffee before or after the Main Session. Donations currently benefit Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice. You can find more info about this ministry at the coffee stand.
FBC KIDS – 9:30 AM
FBC Kids is our Sunday morning program for children ages 0–6th grade, where we use The Gospel Project as our curriculum.
Our mission is to partner with families to raise up kids who love Jesus!
At our 9:30 AM Main Session we have 3 classes (check in by the Nursery):
• Nursery & Toddler – age 0-2
• Preschool & Kindergarten – age 3-5
• Grades 1, 2, & 3
Check your children in at the station by the nursery in the main hallway – follow the signs!
There will be a single check-in station where you can conveniently complete the process for your child, and you can sign in for the rest of your family, too, all at once.
• Grades 4, 5, & 6 participate in the Main Session. If your older kiddo hasn’t gotten an FBC Kids 4-5-6 Grade binder yet, they can grab theirs from under the giving box at the back of the auditorium! These are for kids to keep, and they can add to their binders each week.

TRUNKS STILL NEEDED!
Trunk or Treat is almost here and we are almost all ready, but we still need a few things!
Please consider helping in one of these areas:
• WE NEED ONE MORE TRUNK (as of Thursday, 10/26)!
Decorate a trunk and give out candy (sign up here!)
Need some trunk ideas? Click here to look at our Pinterest board for ideas!
If you try to sign up for a trunk and you aren’t allowed to, that means we have enough!
Celebrate with us and then decide how you can help in another way listed below. 🙂
• WE NEED PEOPLE TO HELP WITH GAMES AND BOUNCE HOUSE
Help overseeing carnival games and help kids maneuver getting in and out of the bounce house obstacle course
• WE NEED PEOPLE FOR OUR WELCOME TEAM
This team greets all the guests at the main entrance as they enter the event
• WE NEED A FEW MORE PEOPLE FOR OUR SAFETY TEAM
This team posts stations indoors and out to ensure the safety of our guests
• WE STILL NEED CANDY!
We have received a lot of candy but we definitely need more! Please continue to donate candy in the bin in the foyer.
If you can help in any way, it is important that you sign up in the app: Home> Connect> Events or click here.
There is something for everyone!
If you aren’t available to help at the event, there are ways you can help beforehand or afterward (cleanup crew, anyone?).
In addition, please pray for the event planning as well as consider donating candy!
We will need lots of candy for our trunks. Drop your candy in the bin in the foyer. Thanks!

MEMBERSHIP WORKSHOP – 11/12
Who is the church? What is the purpose of the church? Why join the church? How do I join the church? This evening of connection and discussion will answer these questions and more. Come explore church membership and its connection to ministry at FBC Richland.
Sunday, November 12, 5:30 – 8:00 PM. Dinner will be provided. Please sign up so that we know how much food to prepare.
Sign up for the Membership Workshop here.
TEEN LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE (TLC) – SIGNUPS OPEN
It’s that time of the year again and TLC registration is open! TLC, the Teen Leadership Conference, is a really cool event where Freshmen to college-age students can come together with other churches and hear Christian speakers and be encouraged together. Registration is $185 and open now until December 1 (for a free hoodie) and December 15 is the final deadline (but no hoodie).
This is a really amazing event and all eligible students are encouraged to attend.
But, this isn’t just for the students. We also need adult leaders (over 21) to help with this trip. This can range from driving vans, to working in the kitchen, to being a leader at the camp, to simply committing to pray for the trip. The fee for adult leaders will be covered, so this is primarily a time commitment from you. ** If you are interested in being a chaperone or a kitchen worker, please check with Rachel or Tara first! Thanks. **
If you have any questions about TLC, please talk to Rachel Montgomery or send her an email.
And, as always, please sign up in the ChurchCenter app. Open your app and tap Home> Connect> Events or click here.
CHURCH APP – DIRECTORY
Did you know that we have a church directory? Join today and don’t forget to add your photo into your profile!
This is a secure directory that is only available to those who have opted in.
• Group by household or individual
• Choose whether to include children
• Choose what information to include for each person (photo, phone, email)
• Very secure – only people in our database can be INVITED to participate
To get your invitation to join the directory, send an email to info@fbcrichland.net
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is an international program that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church. We seek to create a space for moms to be seen, heard, and known. MOPS is all about connecting people to each other, sharing the joys and challenges of motherhood, and sharing the love of Jesus.
• After you grab our app, join our MOPS Group!
FBC MOPS meets twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from September to May. We meet from 6:30-8:00 PM in Room 101 at FBC Richland (1107 Wright Ave). We provide fellowship, snacks, discussions, and laughter. Motherhood is messy! Don’t feel like you have to do it alone! Please join us, just as you are – because we are better together!
• We meet in Room 101 at FBC Richland

God Of Miracles
Highlands
Revelation Song
Draw Me Close
God Of Miracles
Verse 1
Let faith arise
In spite of what I see Lord I believe
But help my unbelief
I choose to trust You no matter what I feel
Let faith arise
Let faith arise
For my champion’s not dead
He is alive
Oh and He already knows my ev’ry need
Surely He will come and rescue me
Chorus
God of miracles (come)
We need Your supernatural love to break through
Nothing’s impossible
You’re the God of miracles
Verse 2
Let faith arise
And see the kingdom come
I lift my eyes
Oh for the battle has been won
My God is faithful
Oh and ev’ry single word He said is true oh
Bridge
This world is shaking
But You cannot be shaken
My heart is breaking
But I’m not broken yet
Your love is fearless
Help me to be courageous too
Oh there is nothing impossible (for the)
Highlands (Song Of Ascent)
Verse 1
O how high would I climb mountains
If the mountains were where You hide
O how far I’d scale the valleys
If You graced the other side
Verse 2
O how long have I chased rivers
From lowly seas to where they rise
Against the rush of grace descending
From the source of its supply
Pre-Chorus
‘Cause in the highlands and the heartache
You’re neither more or less inclined
I would search and stop at nothing
You’re just not that hard to find
Chorus
Oh (So) I will praise You on the mountain
(And) I will praise You
When the mountain’s in my way
You’re the summit where my feet are
So I will praise You in the valleys all the same
No less God within the shadows
No less faithful when the night leads me astray
(‘Cause) You’re the heaven where my heart is
In the highlands and the heartache all the same
Verse 3
O how far beneath Your glory
Does Your kindness extend the path
From where Your feet rest on the sunrise
To where You sweep the sinner’s past
Verse 4
And O how fast would You come running
If just to shadow me through the night
Trace my steps through all my failure
And walk me out the other side
Pre-Chorus
For who could dare ascend that mountain
That valleyed hill called Calvary
But for the One I call Good Shepherd
Who like a lamb was slain for me
Bridge
Whatever I walk through
Wherever I am
Your Name can move mountains
Wherever I stand
And if ever I walk through
The valley of death
I’ll sing through the shadows
My song of ascent
Pre-Chorus
From the gravest of all valleys
Come the pastures we call grace
A mighty river flowing upwards
From a deep but empty grave
Revelation Song
Verse 1
Worthy is the Lamb Who was slain
Holy holy is He
Sing a new song to Him Who sits on
Heaven’s mercy seat
Chorus
Holy holy holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Who was and is and is to come
With all creation I sing
Praise to the King of kings
You are my ev’rything
And I will adore You
Verse 2
Clothed in rainbows of living color
Flashes of lightning rolls of thunder
Blessing and honor strength and glory
And power be to You the only wise King
Verse 3
Filled with wonder awestruck wonder
At the mention of Your name
Jesus Your name is power breath and living water
Such a marv’lous mystery yeah
Draw Me Close
Verse
Draw me close to You
Never let me go
I lay it all down again
To hear You say that I’m Your friend
You are my desire no one else will do
‘Cause nothing else could take Your place
To feel the warmth of Your embrace
Help me find the way
Bring me back to You
Chorus
You’re all I want
You’re all I’ve ever needed
You’re all I want
Help me know You are near
Ending
Help me know You are here
