Made Alive
Christ Is Risen
Made Alive
Verse 1
I once was dead in sin alone and hopeless
A child of wrath I walked condemned in darkness
But Your mercy brought new life
And in Your love and kindness
Raised me up with Christ and made me righteous
Chorus
You have bought me back with the riches of
Your amazing grace and relentless love
I’m made alive forever with You life forever
By Your grace I’m saved
By Your grace I’m saved
Verse 2
Lord You are the light that broke the darkness
You satisfy my soul when I am heartless
If ever I forget my true identity
Show me who I am and help me to believe
Bridge
My sin has been erased
I’ll never be the same
Christ Is Risen
Verse 1
Let no one caught in sin remain
Inside the lie of inward shame
But fix our eyes upon the cross
And run to Him who showed great love
And bled for us
Freely You’ve bled for us
Chorus
Christ is risen from the dead
Trampling over death by death
Come awake come awake
Come and rise up from the grave
Christ is risen from the dead
We are one with Him again
Come awake come awake
Come and rise up from the grave
Verse 2
Beneath the weight of all our sin
You bowed to none but heaven’s will
No scheme of hell no scoffer’s crown
No burden great can hold You down
In strength You reign
Forever let Your church proclaim
Bridge
O death where is your sting
O hell where is your victory
O church come stand in the light
The glory of God has defeated the night
Singing O death where is your sting
O hell where is your victory
O church come stand in the light
Our God is not dead He’s alive He’s alive
Scripture
Can I Relate In Life?
Pastor Tim Walker
21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
John 20:21 (ESV)
1 And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.
2 And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light.
3 And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him.
4 And Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good that we are here. If you wish, I will make three tents here, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.”
5 He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”
6 When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were terrified.
Matthew 17:1-6 (ESV)
1 So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,
2 complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.
3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,
6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,
7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,
10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence
but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,
13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
Philippians 2:1-13 (ESV)
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6 (ESV)

Missionary of the Month
Grace Kitchen
Amanda Lorraine, Founder & CEO
Grace Kitchen is a ministry that exists in order to empower and employ women out of poverty in the Tri-Cities area through the daily work of discipleship, friendship, job training, and employment. We seek to meet the needs of some of the most marginalized women in our city and proclaim the amazing news of our risen Savior. Through the production of our gourmet dried food products, catering, and eventually having a food truck and a retail store, we equip women in our city to become confident, self sufficient and Christ dependent. This ministry enables women to learn to work and eventually support themselves and their families apart from relying solely on government programs or destructive relationships.
Prayer Requests:
- Please pray for me as the director to steward the time I have well, and for wisdom from God to lead this organization with Christ-centered humility, boldness, and courage that only comes from the Lord.
- Pray for our protection as we are in a more dangerous area of our city, and it is all women in the building most of the time.
- Pray for Sue (Assistant director) as she works directly with the ladies assisting them with tutoring, computer skills, resumes, & discipling. This isn’t an easy job when you are working with women who have experienced a lot of trauma in their lives.
- Pray for our Thursday leadership team, that God would continue to give them wisdom and truth to speak as they walk alongside new women each week. We often see the effects of trauma, prostitution, and addiction, and we need the Holy Spirit to guide each of us as we seek to tenderly care for these women’s needs.
- Pray for the women currently enrolled in our program that they would see Jesus for who He really is and want to fully surrender their lives to Him.
- Pray for the women that God would provide housing, stability, and continued sobriety so they can be fully reunited with their children.
- Pray for these women that they would learn the truth of God’s word and find their hope and salvation in Christ alone through the numerous bible studies we teach weekly.
To make a one-time gift (love offering) to Grace Kitchen you may choose “Missionary of the Month” in the drop-down menu of the ChurchCenter app’s giving option. This option is also available online, here. Alternatively, you may visit their website to contribute directly to them.
